A Bedtime Book Tag

Oh... a tag, again.
I guess I should do it, just to prove Jane wrong.
Here we go, although books are good, I may manage!

1. A book that kept you up all night.

Wow, I guess Shadowmancer kept me up most of the night. Good book, nerve racking, but good. Some nights I stayed up till pretty late with the King Raven Trilogy. Hmm, I fell asleep reading on Sunday and then woke up at 5:00 pm and got ready for school thinking that it was Monday!

2. A book that made you scared to sleep.

Hunter Brown. No doubt there. Even now I have nightmares about it, and I only got 57 pages in!

3. A book that made you go to sleep.

I fell asleep when reading Famous Five Get into a Fix once. It was a good book, but I can recite most of it. Maybe I was a bit to addicted to them when I was younger...

4. A book that left you tossing and turning all night in anticipation of its release.

Brotherband- John Flanagan
Copper Gauntlet- Cassandra Clare/ Holly Black
Tournament of Gorlan- John Flanagan
Red Queen- Isabelle Carmody
And a lot of others.

5. A book that has your favorite boy/girl relationship.

Hmm, Blessed Child? Subtle, but there.

6. A book that would be your worst nightmare to live in.

Um... a lot of books. How about A Series of Unfortunate Events? That would be bad. REALLY bad.

7. A book that reminds you of night-time.

Ensnared. Great book. Cut the romance that took over the book half way though and it would have been perfect. I got bored in the romance, because it wasn't well written, and who ends a book with two main characters dying, the villain winning, and the heroine going mad?

8. A book that had a nightmarish cliffhanger.

Ranger Apprentice  The Burning Bridge, The Ice Bound Land, The Sorcerer of the North. The Kingdom series by Chuck Black is another one....

9. A book you actually dreamed about.

Lord of the Rings, Rangers Apprentice, Brotherband, The Path Through the Trees, The Hobbit, Cat in the Hat... a lot of different ones. I dream about books a lot and sleep talk about them.

10. A book monster you wouldn't want to find under your bed.

I agree with Jane. None. But, I guess a Kalkara would be petrifying... so would a Basilisk ... and any other monster!

Hmm I don't know who to tag. Hey! Anyone who wants to do this, you are tagged!

  1. This was a fun read Jess! I agree, I would not want to live in the Series of Unfortunate Events world. That would be...unfortunate to say the least! :)
As I've been watching this post travel around I've noticed a lot of people say they have dreamed about LOTR (including myself). I wonder why that is!?

  2. Good job! I didn't expect that you'd do it so quickly. I guess the fact that I mentioned that probably helped. :D
